The invention relates to a device for hinging millwork (1) that comprises a frame holder (4) for holding the frame to be hinged (3) and a positioning arm (5) with a clamping means (6) for picking up a hinge (2) for placing the same on said frame (3), the device being characterised in that the clamping means (6) includes a base attached to the positioning arm (5) as well as a reversible coupling means designed to alternatively assume an attachment configuration, in which it associates with the base a hinging bit (14) specifically adapted for picking up a particular type of hinge (2), and a release configuration in which it releases the hinging bit (14) from said base. The invention can be used in millwork hinging devices.
